Philippine Adventures offers you a once in a life time
private tour to hike the picturesque Mount Pinatubo and swim
in the Crater Lake at the top.
Depart from Metro Manila at dawn and drive two and a half hours north in an
air-conditioned luxury minibus, here you will board a
old 4x4 Filipino Jeep and enjoy a thrilling drive across Crow Valley, a
moon-like terrain, with vast ash fields and rocky rivers. On the way will stop at an
Aeta Village and enjoy interacting with one of the oldest indigenous tribes in the Philippines.
You will hike up towards the summit passing through sandy cliffs and up a mountain path. The views of the
Crater Lake are breathtaking and worth every minute of the long trek. Take in the incredible surroundings,
enjoy your optional packed breakfast and take a swim in the lake before returning to
Pinatubo Spa Town.
At Mount Pinatubo Spa you have the option of having a shower and sitting down for a
Filipino or Korea buffet
lunch. The restaurant and spa are set in a clean, peaceful garden
where you can rest your weary legs and take in the
surroundings. After lunch you have the opportunity to
experience the volcanic spa treatments
on offer.
On our journey back to Manila you have the the chance to visit Capas National Shrine
where you can experience the horrors faced by the U.S. and Filipino POW soldiers who were interned for much of WW2 at
Camp O'Donnell. The history of the area is fascinating and well worth a
stop.
Depending on traffic - you should arrive back in Manila at roughly 7.00 pm.
